Welcome

You are making a wise decision to begin to explore a study abroad program at Michigan Tech University.  Foreign study and travel will benefit you personally (though an exposure to new cultures and places), academically (by having access to courses not available at Tech, and also to different perspectives on topics that are taught at Tech), and professionally (companies want to hire students who traveled abroad as either undergrad or grad students).

Students

Please view the Study Abroad Webcast for study abroad procedures. You must view this and complete the Study Abroad Interest Form before you can make an appointment with Dr. Blair. Study abroad appointments will be scheduled during Dr Blair's office hours, please call 7-2160 for an appointment.

Parents

Study abroad is a wonderful opportunity for your student, it is also a major step, it may be the longest or furthest away from home your child has been.  They have questions about the process, we are sure do too, the following information HERE should help answer your questions.
